AIC Launches Yangmei New Facility to Meet Surging Demand from AI and Data Centers
Marking 30th Anniversary with Global Partners, Expanding Capacity to Strengthen AI and High-Performance Storage Deployment
[Taiwan, Taoyuan] AIC held an inauguration ceremony for its new Yangmei facility in Taoyuan, expanding its production capacity to address the strong growth momentum in AI and data center markets. On the same day, AIC hosted its 30th anniversary gala dinner at COZZI Hotel, bringing together key global customers and suppliers—including AMD, AMI, Broadcom, Intel, Phison, and Seagate—to celebrate this important milestone.
AIC Chairman and CEO Michael Liang stated: “As demand for generative AI and large-scale data center deployments continues to rise, the importance of high-performance computing and storage infrastructure is increasing significantly. From our Luzhu plant, to the Vietnam facility in 2025, and now the launch of the Yangmei plant this year, AIC continues to expand capacity and optimize its manufacturing footprint to enhance delivery efficiency and support customers’ deployment needs in the AI era.
The new Yangmei facility incorporates automated production processes and intelligent management systems, significantly improving manufacturing efficiency and quality consistency, while strengthening mass production capabilities for AI servers and high-density storage systems. As data volumes grow exponentially, enterprises are demanding high-performance, low-latency, and scalable storage architectures. AIC continues to invest in AI storage and data infrastructure technologies to help customers enhance overall computing and data processing performance.
