To update AIC BIOS and BMC, please refer to each product user manual.

BMC user name and password are both set as admin as default.

For AIC server product, the BMC default IP address is set as DHCP; users can change BMC IP setting in BIOS to either DHCP or Static IP. For AIC JBOD with BMC, the BMC IP is 192.168.11.11 as default.

AIC's standard warranty period is three (3) years (starting from invoice day); unless there are special business terms and conditions to be applied with.

To clear CMOS on the motherboard, please remove the system battery on the motherboard for more than 5 seconds and install the battery back to clear the COMS. For specific motherboards, please refer to the motherboard user manual for further CMOS clear instruction.

All AIC products are named with a unique serial number which is using stickers attached on the products such as on the chassis, motherboard, backplane, bridge board, and so forth.

Yes. M.2 SSD can be used on AIC products with onboard NGFF(M.2) M key support SATA/PCIe x4; however, to use M.2 SSD for bootable device, it supports on Intel Purley platform only.

This is a compatibility issue between the Adaptec SAS Card and AIC Storage Server, and requires customized EOB firmware to fix the problem. Please contact with AIC support directly for more information (support@aicipc.com).
